52 In the name of God Amen, I Frances Graham of the County of Franklin being sick and weak in body, but of sound and perfect mind and memory, thanks to almighty God for his mercy and knowing the uncertainty of this earthly life do make and ordain this my las will an testament (viz.) that is to say, revolking and making void all other will or wills formerly made by me. (First) My will is that my just debts be paid and of my movable estate and the remainder to be equally divided among all my children, receiving first to my wife, Nancy Graham the third part thereof or a childs part, which she may think fit together with the privilege and benefit of the lower end of my dwelling house with the passage, the other end of the house to be possessed by my son, John, the other convenient out house for the benefit and advantage of my wife and son John, together and that my wife shall have a sufficient maintenance during her natural life or widowhood. I give to my son, John the whole of my land whereon I now live and be it understood that the negroes, viz: Bob and Sharlot, which my wife brought with her to be returned to her again as her own property forever. I also constitute and appoint William Montgomery and William Phillips, Executors and my wife, Nancy Graham, Executrix of this my last will and testament in testimony where of, I have her unto set my hand and affixed my seal this twenty first day of October, eighteen hundred and eight.
