THIS INDENTURE made this 23rd day of February 1804 between ANDREW GIMBLIN and Madaline his Wife of the County of Garrard of the one part and PETER HEDDRICK of the Same County of the Other Part Witnesseth that the said Andrew and M his wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of four hundred and forty-two pounds current Money of Kentucky to him in hand paid the receipt whereof they do grant bargain and sell and by these presence hereby acknowledge hath this day grant bargained and sold unto the said Peter a sertain tract of parcel of land, Situated lying and being in the Said County of Garrard on the waiters of white Oak Creek Containing by estamation one hundred acres be the same more or less and is bounded as followers (viz) Beginning at a hickory standing in the line of Col. James Barbers Settlement and preemption thence with Nathan Pulliams line East 166 poles to two Dogwoods in Richard Ballingers line thence with Ballinger and Wilson So 96 1/2 poles to a hickory Sapplin and Stake in Wilsons line thence with him North 96 1/2 poles to the Beginning. To have and to holde the said Tract of Land with its appurtanances unto the said Peter Heddrick and his Heirs forever to his and, There only proper use behoof and the said Andrew and for themselves and there heirs doth covinant and agree to and with the said Peter, that they the said tract of land with its appurtinances until the said Peter and his heirs forever against the Claim of themselves and there heirs and all Claim under them and against the legal claim of all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will Warent and forever Defend. In testamony whereof they the said Andrew and Madelin hath hereunto set there hands and Seals the day and year above written.

Garard Sct. 23rd Day of Feby 1804 I certify that this day ANDREW GIMBLIN and Margret his wife came before me in my office and acknowledge the within Indenture of Bargan and Sale She having been examined Separate and apart from her Husband relinquished her Right of Dower herein as the law Directs and that the Same is truly Recorded.
