The Green County Genealogical Society was created January 13, 2004, by a group of history and genealogy minded individuals interested in the preservation of Green County history and that of surrounding counties.
The Green County Journal, a quarterly publication of the Society, is published spring, summer, fall and winter.
The Green County Journal, is designed to inform and educate the membership with numerous articles on varied subjects of interest to genealogists and historians.

Society meetings will be held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at Barbara Wright's on Busy Baker Road, Campbellsville, Ky. This is on the Green and Taylor County Line (near Black Gnat); at 5:00 p.m. Central Time.
