EBENEZER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (GENERAL) The first pages of the original records with respect to the history of this church session can say but little that would be of interest for Presbyterian to hear, it was constructed as well as we can recall in the year of our Lord 1799 by the Rev. David Rice. It then consisted of 14 members. It never has, at any time, properly be under the pastoral care of any minister, but has been stately supplied at different times by the Rev. David Rice, Jeremiah Abel and Samuel B. Robertson; as to the members received and dismissed, we can not be certain as there never was any records kelp until August 1812.
