Elizabeth Sandidge, 1720 - 1826

Elizabeth died Jan 6th, 1826 shortly before her 106th birthday buried in Wilson Hill.
Elizabeth Sandidge, The daughter of John and Frances Graves. Was born in Albemarle County, Virginia on February 14, 1720, and later married to William Sandridge. Elizabeth was 80 years of age or more when she along with her son John and other family members, made the move to Green County, Kentucky. Elizabeth died Jan 6th, 1826 shortly before her 106th birthday and is buried in the family cemetery at Wilson Hill.
Wilson Hill was a Plantation of approximately
1000 acres, the house and cemetery, lie near Greasy Creek in the Southern
end of the County, in the center of an imaginary triangle formed by Exie,
Newt and Liletown.
Elizabeth Sandidge was 12 years old when George Washington was born, John Quincy Adams was President when she died. She has many descendants still in Green and surrounding counties.
