Alice Hirtler Crabtree, 79, of Clarksville died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, in Clarksville. She was born March 27, 1924, in Harlan County, Ky. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, a 31-year member of Girl Scouts of the USA, served on the Mount Magazine Council where she was awarded the “Thanks Badge”, the highest honor for volunteer adults, was active in Johnson County Democrat Party, and formerly employed as a home health aide.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville with burial at Coal Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard; a daughter, Sue Park of Clarksville; a sister, Polly Key of Lamar; two brothers, Arch Wheeler of Conway and Jack Hirtler of Louisiana; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
