Bodie A. Nolan

Bodie A. Nolan, 88, Loyall, died Nov. 7, 2003, at Britthaven Nursing Home of the Tri-Cities. 
A native of Leslie County, Nolan had lived in Harlan County for the past 60 years. 
She was a homemaker and believed in the Baptist faith. 
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Anderson and Ara Begley Anderson; two children: Barbara Farley Muncy and Betty Lou Shoemaker Turner; two brothers: Dennis Anderson and Columbus Anderson; and two sisters: Georgia Lee and Ann Gibby. 
Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Delbert B. Nolan, Loyall; one son, Jimmy R. Nolan and wife, Brenda, Sunset Beach, N.C.; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. 
Visitation will be held today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Loyall Funeral Home. 
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Simpson officiating. 
Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery at Keith. 
Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers. 
Loyall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
