George Malicoat

    George Malicoat Jr, 39 years old died at the Harlan Hospital, Thursday night about 8: O'clock from injuries received while working in the mines at the Bluefield, W. Va. He was brought here in very bad condition several weeks ago an a operation was performed.
     He is the son of "Uncle" George Malicoat, of Harlan, who deeply mourns his death.He is survived by his wife Mrs Mamie Malicoat, four sisters, Mrs H. E. Stallard,Wallins Creek, Mrs Francis Crompton, Utah, Mrs Myrtle Teasley, Mrs U.S. Laws and two brothers J. D. and Tom Malicoat all of this city.
      Funeral service was held at the residence in Sunshine, at one O;Clock, Saturday by Rev. W. C. Bolton after which the Masonic order took charge of the body that was laid to rest in the Gilbert cemetery.
