| Joanah Cawood
April 27,1927 Joanah Pope Cawood passed away Saturday morning, April 16. She was 85 years old. She was a Turner before her marriage, a sister to Moses Turner, who lives at Evarts. John T. Pope, her husband died March 20, 1870 qnd she lived true to him and her children. There are four children to mourn her death, Bettie, who married N. H. Howard; Susan, who married Calvin Howard, Billie, who married erva Burkhart and Vina unmarried.She has been a christian since childhood and belonged to the Methodist Church. Rev. E. P. Hall preached the funeral service and she was buried in the family graveyard on the old home place on Bob's Creek. My Notes:
