  After a long illiness, Lois Wallace, Highsplint, died of peritonites. Her husband Frank Wallace had preceeded her in death by only a few weeks. Her health was so fragile, she was never told of her husbands death. She is survived by her parents Mr.and Mrs Edward Lay of Wofford, Ky. Roy Lay brother and a sister Zelma Lay both of Wofford.
Her remains were taken to Woofford for service and burial.
Mrs Wallace was a mere 14 years old.
