Pfc Paul H. Jones, 21, son of
Mr.and Mrs Mose H. Jones, Evarts was killed in action July 11, in France while serving with the
army. Private Jones, entered the
Army March 17, 1943 and had been overseas two months at the time of his death. he was a former employee
of High Splint Coal Company, High Splint. Besides his parents, survivors
include four brothers and two sisters.
