Funeral services for William Franklin Cox, 64, will be at 2 pm Thursday at the Eastview Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.  The Rev. Walter Lay
will preside.

Dixon and Atwood & Adkins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is handling the arrangements.

Cox, of Bruner Street, Clarkson, died Tuesday afternoon at Grayson County Hospital.  He was a retired employee of General Motors in Detroit.

Survivors include his wife, the former Inez Hawkins;  four sons, Shelby, William G, and Jerry Cox, all of Clarkson, and Kenneth Fox of Williamsburg;  five
daughters, Faye Hester and Robin Cox, both of Clarkson, Virginia Barnes of Taylor, Michigan, Wanda Damron of Williamsburg and Carolyn Keown of Bowling
Springs, N.C.;  two sisters, Dora Ayers of Rose Hill, Va., and Thelma Middleton of Jonesville, Va.; and 17 grandchildren.
