James Ward Cemetery |
|
This transcription was taken from "The Kentucky
Genealogist", Vol. 24, No. 1, dated Jan.- Mar. 1982, a quarterly
publication of the Kentucky Historical Society. This
cemetery was copied by Roberta S. & William L. Disponett, Mary
Sidney Keiley and Charles Waggoner. "This cemetery once
had a field rock fence around it, but only a few of these stones
remain today, and a tree is growing in the center of the
cemetery. There are probably others buried in this
cemetery. It is large enough to have had more than the three
graves mentioned, but only pieces of rock and stones could be found,
and these did not show any signs of lettering."
Please email your
coordinators with any questions regarding this graveyard.
