OBIT: Joseph Cummins, d. 1856 Jefferson Co., Kentucky.   Found in Kentucky Reference Vol. 53 , no. 185 P.33.   Cummins, Joseph died 27 Oct, 1856 in Jefferson County Ky.  He was born Oct. 20, 1816 in
Jefferson Co.  Parents of William and Elizabeth Capatrick Cummins. He was the husband of Manivera Murphy Martin, and the father of William Cummins, Martha Cummins and Zachary Taylor Cummins.

METZ, MRS. MARY

age 67 years old, died of old age yesterday morning at her home on the Seventh-street road. For more than 60 years she had lived on the old homestead. The funeral will take place from the residence this afternoon at 3 o’clock, and the burial will be in the family burial ground. (Louisville Newspaper; 22 July 1899)

Steinauer- Thursday June 16 at 2 pm Lucas Anton Steinauer, age 71 years 3 months and 11 days.

Funeral Monday, June 20, at 8:15 am from his late Residence No. 623 E. Gary Street. Services will be held at St. Boniface Church at 9 am.. Interment at St. Michaels Cemetery. Friends of the family invited to attend.
