Mrs. Sarah Straughn Dies at Westport

Mrs. Sarah J. Straughn, 78 years old, died after a week's illness at her home in Westport, March 17th. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, conducted by Mr. F. W. Asbell.

Those from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Alvie Fendley and family of Harrod's Creek; Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Fendley of Louisville, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fendley of Indianapolis; Mr. and Mrs. James Price and children of Skylight.
She leaves her husband, one brother, one grandson, and two great-grandchildren.

William J. Fleischman

Courier-Journal Obit

Funeral services for William J. Fleischman, 82 years old, which died Sunday night at his residence, 1843 Date Street, will be held at 2:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at his residence. The Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery.  He is survived by three sons, Raudolph Fleischman, Richard Fleischman and Charles Fleischman; three daughters: Mrs. Emma Reiling, Miss Lena Fleischman and Miss Alice Fleischman; a brother, Charles Fleischman, Germany, and a grandson.

The Oldham Era Obit published 1934

Mrs. Emma A. Morris, 72 years of age, died of infirmities at the home of her son, William Morris, in the Liberty neighborhood Friday night about midnight.  She had been making her home there about two months and formerly lived in Jefferson County.

Funeral services were held at Shiloh Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. E. C. Johnson in charge.  Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery.

Fred Pellman

Fred Pellman Dies

Fred Pellman, 47 years old, died at his home near Liberty on Wednesday morning. He was a veteran of the World War. He is survived by his wife and several children.
Funeral services were held at Shiloh Church Thursday morning at eleven o'clock with the Rev. E. C. Johnson in charge. Interment followed in the Shiloh Cemetery.

Fred Wingfield
Courier-Journal Obit

WINGFIELD, FRED, entered into eternal rest Wednesday May 16, 1934 at 5:20 p.m. at the old homestead Bernheim Lane.  Fred Wingfield in his 76th year beloved father of Charles F. Wingfield.  Funeral will be from the residence of his son, Seventh Street Road Friday, May 18 2:30 p.m.  Interment at Cave Hill Cemetery.

Isaac E. Dismore

Dismore- Wednesday May 9,1934, at 9 AM at the residence 1832 W. Kentucky Street. Isaac E. Dismore, age 72 years. Beloved husband of Mary M. Dismore (nee Combs). Funeral from the residence Friday May 11 at 1:30 PM Internment in Resthaven Cemetery.

Young Woman Dies

Miss Bonnie Mae Jeffries died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Jeffries, near Covington Church at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday after a lingering illness, having born an invalid since childhood. Miss Jeffries was 35 years of age.  

She is survived by her parents, one brother, Samuel Jeffries. She was a member of the Covington Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial was in the family lot at the Fendley Burial Ground nearby.

The pall bearers were Leonard, Forest and James Cumingore, Floyd Fendley, Addison Bennett, and Alva Branch. Flower bearers were Edna Hunter and Margie Clifford. 
The following relatives and friends from Kentucky and Indiana were Mr. Omer Cumingore and daughters, Mrs. Mabel Kerr, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Cummingore and children, Mr. and Mrs. Forest Cumingore and daughter and Mr. James Cumingore.
