Wethington, Mrs.
Matilda A. Humpich, died Tuesday, 25 Sep 1951, at 1 p.m. at her
residence on 1249 S. Clay Street. She was the widow of Michael
J. Wethington; devoted mother of Mrs. Edward (Joyce) Weckman;
grandmother of Tommie and David Weckman; sister of Mrs. Thomas
(Tina) Naughton, Mrs. Marge Ruhkamp, Mrs. Irene Gebhart, Mrs.
Raymond (Marie) Smith, Theodore J., Frank B., and Leonard J. Humpich.
Funeral will be
Friday morning at 8:30 from Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison Avenue
at Barret, and at St. Vincent DePaul Church at 9 o'clock.
Interment will be at St. Michael Cemetery. Members of St.
Elizabeth Sodality will meet at the funeral home Wednesday at 8 p.m.
to recite the rosary.

Maryman, Mr. John Arch,
of Greenwood Road, Valley Station, Ky., passed away suddenly in his
79th year, Friday, 9 March 1951 at the residence. The
beloved father of Mrs. Leona Fey, Mrs. Peter Gagel and Mrs. Henry
Jucoff; also survived by his sister, Mrs. Belle Adams; 9
grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The remains will be
at W. G. Hardy and interment in South Jefferson Cemetery.

passed away in her 82nd year Tuesday May 15, at 4:05 PM in
the Baptist Hospital. Loving mother of Mrs. Fred (Helen D.)
Braun; family residence 324 Merdian Ave. Widow of the late Mr.
Isaac E. Dismore; also survived by her sister, Mrs. Estell Ruddell;
her niece, Miss Cleda Ruddell, Mrs. Richard Piercy and her
nephews, Mr. William Coombs and Mr. Raymond D. Garriott.
Services for Mrs. Dismore will be held in the Arch L. Heady
and son's funeral home, Oak and Schiller Avenue Friday morning at
10:30 AM. Interment in Resthaven Cemetery.

Church Cemetery
The
funeral for William H. Fendley, 37, Jefferson County patrolman for
four years before he became ill a year ago, will be at 2 p.m.
tomorrow at Neurath's Chapel. Burial will be at Shiloh,
Kentucky. he died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday at his home in
Prospect. He was a member of Harrods Creek Masonic Lodge.
Survivors
are his wife, Mrs. Grace O. Fendley; four daughters, Miss Margaret
M. Fendley, Miss Norma L. Fendley, Miss Barbara A. Fendley, and Miss
Helen Fendley; three sons, Alvin T. Fendley, George L. Fendley, and
David L. Fendley; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Fendley; two
sisters, Miss Margaret Fendley and Miss Katherine Fendley; a
brother, Edward Fendley, and his grandmother, Mrs. Mary Fendley.

Margaret nee Fey, died Sunday morning, 7 January 1951, at 8
o’clock in her 91st hear. She is the widow of Mr. John
George Michael Steedle and devoted mother of Mrs. Nora Katzman;
grandmother of Mrs. Harry McCuen; survived also by 2
great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Services will be at
the Maas Funeral Home and interments in Resthaven Cemetery.

Resident of
Louisville, Three Months, Mrs. May Hale, 55, suffered a
heart attack about 9:30 am today in front of her home, 107
Kingston. She had gone to visit a nephew, William S.
Giannini, 138 Kingston, earlier. The attack occurred in
his automobile as he brought her home, Deputy Coroner
William T. Kammerer reported.
Mrs. Hale came
here from Knoxville, Tenn., to make her home with her sister
and brother-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. P. E. Giannini. Surviving,
also, son, William Hale, Detroit; daughter, Mrs. Betty Lou White,
Detroit.
