Mrs. Ruth Mary Douglas Baker, 54, of 2100 Lower Hunters Trace, died at 1 p. m. Saturday at her home. 

She was a member of Briargate Presbyterian Church. 

Survivors include her husband, Joseph W. Baker, Sr., two daughters, Miss Anna K. Baker of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. James C. Davison; one son, Joseph W. Baker of Maryville, TN, and one grandchild.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a. m. Tuesday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Bethany Cemetery.  The body will be at the funeral home after 4 p. m. Sunday.

Additional information from funeral notice:  Survivors also include a sister, Alleen Call and a brother, Mr. Raymond Douglas.  Remains resting at Owen Funeral Home until 9 a. m. Tuesday when Mrs. Baker will be taken to the Briargate Presbyterian Church for services at 10:30 a. m.   The family requests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to the Briargate Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.

John L Dorton Sr.,52 of 4805 Andaluisa Lane died at 6am Thursday at his residence. He was a die cut operator for St. Joe Paper Co. and was a member of The Church of God. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Patricia Davis Dorton, a daughter Patricia Ann Dorton, Receda Calif.,; three son's John L Dorton Jr. and Richard Wayne Dorton both of Receda Calif. Phillip Gary Dorton; and three grandchildren. The Funeral will be at 2pm Saturday at Arch L Heady Fairdale Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road with burial in Mt Holly Cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home after 3pm Friday.

CJ, died 10 Oct 1975

Joseph E Logsdon, 63, of 1500 Oleanda Ave., died at 3:25 am Friday at Kentucky Baptist Hospital.
He was a Native of Hart County and until his retirement in 1971 had been a foreman for National Carbide Co.. He was a member of Lynnhurst Church of Nazarene.
He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Monsour;three daughters Mrs. Barbara DeWitt, Mrs Betty Graves and Miss JoAnn Logsdon;three son's Joseph James,Raymond Earl,and John Edward Logsdon; a step daughter, Mrs. Donna R Smith; a stepson, Richard Tipton, and 15 grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 am Monday at McDaniel Funeral Home, 4339 Park Blvd.,with burial in St. Stephen Cemetery.
