Mrs. Grace Elizabeth Brown Owens, 86, formerly of Lebanon Junction, died Tuesday at St. Joseph Infirmary.

She was a member of the Bardstown Junction Baptist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Mary Hoke of Salem, IN, Mrs. Ruth Macoubrie, Mrs. Grace Bush of Lebanon Junction, and Mrs. Margaret Ranschaert; two sons, Paul A. Owens of New Castle and John T. Owens, Jr.; 29 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren and six gggrandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Maraman Funeral Home in Shepherdsville, with burial in Hebron Cemetery (Bullitt County).

Alvin S. McAdams

Alvin S. McAdams, 72, of 4508 South Crest Drive, died at 2:15 PM Saturday at SS Mary and Elizabeth Hospital.

He was a retired employee of America Standard, former president of Machinists Local 1390.  He was a Jehovah's Witness.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Alvona Erwin of Rochester, New York, Mrs. Lillian Rogers and Mrs. Bea Head; and seven grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 PM Monday at Nunnelley's Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Millard A. Young, 62, of 4036 Woodruff Avenue, died at 3 p.m. at SS Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.  

He was a native of Madison County and a member of Berry Boulevard Presbyterian Church.  He retired in 1975 after working in the shipping department of Tube Turns for 35 years.

Survivors include his wife, the former Carolyn Bohlsen; three sons, Wayne, Stephen E. and Ronald Young and 10 grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Boulevard, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.  The body will be at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Saturday.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Willie J. Stivers

Willie J. Stivers, 64, of 1902 Myddleton Drive, died at 2:40 p.m. Thursday at Baptist Hospital East.
He had been an electrician and a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church.  
Survivors include his wife, the former Camille Brewer, a daughter Mrs. C. Victor Meyer of Chardon, Ohio, and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 PM Saturday at the Wilhite-Ballard Funeral Home, 11507 Main. St. Middletown, with burial in Middletown Cemetery.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Middletown United Methodist Church Building Fund, or to a favorite charity.

Mrs. Laura I Parker, 53 of 1038 Queen Ave., died at 6:30  a.m.  Sunday at River Region Hospital.

Survivors include two sons; Mark S. Parker of Hialeah, Fla., and David Parker; a daughter, Mrs. Paula Rowe; and two grandchildren.

The Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Vankirk Funeral Home, Corbin.  The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the the Heart Fund.

Walter S. Birch

Funeral Services for Walter S. Birch, 39 years old, a steam fitter, will be at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday at the residence of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Barton K. Birch, 1453 Mellwood Avenue, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.  He died Sunday night.

Edward England

Mr. Edward England passed away Nov. 13,1976 at 8:30 AM in his 50th year at his residence 1602 Clarice Way.  Devoted husband of Mrs. Betty (nee Jessie) England; beloved father of Mrs. Donna Collins, Mr. Jimmy England, and John England; brother of Mrs. Bernell Coots, Mrs. Zordell Jessie, Floyd Eulith and Willard England; grandfather of John Nathaniel England.  Remains resting at Owen Funeral Home, 4317 Dixie Highway until 4 PM  Sunday, which time Mr. England will be taken to the Stotts- Phelps- McQueary Funeral Home at Columbia, Kentucky where funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery, Columbia, Kentucky.
