Fye, Miss Rebecca “Becky”, 93, of Kenwood Drive, died Tuesday, 15 January 1982 at Georgetown Manor Nursing Home. She was a retired employee of Enro Shirt Company and a member of St. James United Church of Christ. The funeral will be at Arch L. Heady and burial in Schardein Cemetery.

Mrs. George F. Haaker, 92 , Christopher East, died there Monday.
She was the former Eva Marie Meyers, a native of Chicago.
Survivors include a son, George F Haaker, four grandchildren; and a great grand child.
The Funeral will be Thursday at ST. Mary of Celle Church in Berwyn,Ill. With Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in North Riverside Ill.
Visitation is at Petrzilka-Parkwyn Funeral Home in Berwyn.
Bosse Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Sacred Heart Home.

Mrs. Chester Leon Faith Sr.,67, of 927 Orchard Ave., died Wednesday at Audubon Hospital.
She was the former Rebecca Emaline Burroughs, a native of Hull, GA., and was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Sallie M. Sloan of Sarasota Fla., Katie A Faith, Mrs. Yolonda E. Schroer and Mrs. Deborah Green; two sons, Chester L. Jr. and Perry A. Faith; five sisters, Mrs. Gladys David of Georgia, Mrs. Bertha Wood and Mrs. Nellie Pitman, both of South Carolina, Mrs. Lois Just of Hati and Mrs. Malydia Owens; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The Funeral will be at 11 AM Saturday at Arch L. Heady Okolona Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Highway, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Melvin Curtis Logsdon

Melvin Curtis Logsdon, 66 died Sunday at his home.  He was a retired employee of Stewarts.  Survivors include his wife the former Gertrude Edison; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Jaggers and Mrs. Birdie Scott; and a brother William E. Logsdon.

The funeral will be at 10 am Wednesday at McDaniel Funeral Home 4339 Park Blvd.with burial in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be after 2 PM Monday.

Mary M. Kelly, 82, died Sat. 26 Jun [1982] at her home in Louisville. She was a member of the St. Paul Methodist Church at the time of her death. She united in marriage to Roscoe Wilcoxson in 1918 and he preceded her in death in Jan 1949. She united in marriage to W. S. Kelly 6 Jun 1958 and he preceded her in death 23 Nov 1968. 

Mrs. Kelly is survived by 8 nieces and 2 nephews: Martha Jane Blackburn and Marianna Sanders, both of Louisville; Shirley Stout, Lexington; Emily Ware, Caithersburg, Maryland; Mary T. Thompson, Augusta, Georgia; Joseph W. Mitchell, Margaret L. Dowell, Peggy Chewning and James Mitchell all of Campbellsville and host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at 10 am Mon 18 Jun with burial in the Greensburg Cem. The Rev. James Loy and the Rev. L.E. Thompson officiated. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Pallbearers were James Mitchell, Jay Stout, Russell Philips, Bill Blackburn, Jack Sanders, David Sanders, and Bob Bean.

William A. Anderson, Sr.

William A. Anderson Sr., 57, of 1164 Eastern Parkway, died Tuesday at Veterans Administration Medical Center.

He was an army veteran of World War II, owner of William A. Anderson Wall Coverings and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3636.

Survivors Include his wife, the former Gladys Faith; three son's, William A. Jr., Terry L. and Gary S. Anderson; two daughter's, Mrs. Anna R. Mills and Mrs. Lesa Jaggers; two stepdaughter's, Mrs. Judy Webb and Mrs. Nancy Anderson; three brother's, Donald R. Anderson of Tampa Fla., Leonard S. and Lawrence J. Anderson; two sister's, Mrs. Laura LaRue and Mrs. Roberta Robbins; and sixteen grandchildren.

The Funeral will be at 11 AM Friday at Russman and Son Funeral Home, 1401 Goss Avenue, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.   Visitation at the funeral home will be after 4 PM Wednesday.

Mrs. Carrie Luken Schnieders, 95, formerly of Shively, died Sunday at Parkway Medical Center.

Survivors include two sons, Edward W. Schnieders and Al J. Schnieders, a builder and owner of the Galt House, Executive Inn and Executive West; a daughter Mrs. Dorothy Frantz; 17 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Helens Catholic Church, 4005 Dixie Highway, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.

Visitations will be at W.G. Hardy Shively Funeral Home, 4101 Dixie Highway, after 7 p.m. Monday and from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.

The funeral will be at 1 PM Thursday at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 3044 Hikes Lane, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation at Arch L. Heady Hikes Point Funeral Home, 4109 Taylorsville Road, will be from 2 to 8 and 7 to 9 PM Wednesday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Mass of the Air.

Mrs. Flora N. Wimpe Bott, 90, died Wednesday at Hillhaven Convalescent Home.

The funeral will be Saturday at St. Therese Catholic Church, 1010 Schiller Ave. With burial in St. Michael Cemetery.

Visitation at Arch L. Heady  & Son Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak St., will be after 3 PM Thursday.
