Christopher East Nursing Home. He was retired district
manager in Industrial sales for Rust-oleum Corp.
Survivors: his wife the former
Perle Black, and a sister, Frances Roberson.
Funeral 2 pm Thursday, McAfee Funeral
Home, 4501 Bardstown Road, with private burial. Vistation after
noon Thursday.

Fleischman,
Adolph J., Sr., 25 January 1987, age 97, of Shively, died Sunday at
Georgetown Manor Nursing Home. He was a native of Germany and a
retired machinist for the old Louisville & Nashville railroad.
Co., Survivors include two sons; A. J. Jr. and Kenneth C. Fleischman;
a brother, Armond Fleischman; a sister, Helen Jones of Boston; 2
grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at W.
G. Hardy Shively Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. SOURCE

Sophia B. Davidson
Littlefield, 85, of 4666 Believe Avenue, died Monday at SS Mary
and Elizabeth Hospital. She was a member of Carlisle Avenue
Baptist Church.
Survivors a son,
Ronald L. Littlefield, a daughter, Beverly A. Stark, a brother,
Harry F. Davidson of Salisbury, NC, a sister, Lucy M. Tilford; 15
grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral 11:30 AM
Wednesday. O. D. White and Son's Funeral Home, 2727 S. Third
Street, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation
from 11 AM to 9 PM Tuesday and after 9 AM Wednesday. Expressions
of Sympathy: Leukemia Society.

Richard W. Dorton, 35,
of 4805 Anduslia Lane, died there Thursday. Deputy Corner
Rose Anderson said the death was a suicide. He was a native
of Santa Monica Calif., and employee at Ashby Lane Automotives and
a Marine Veteran. Survivors: his wife, the former Pamela
Friedman; a son, Richard W. Dorton Jr., of Redondo Beach, Calif.,
four daughters, Jennifer, Stephanie, Wanda, and Tera Dorton, all
of Redondo Beach.; his mother, Patricia Davis; two brothers, John
L. and Phillip G. Dorton Jr., both of Santa Monica; a sister,
Patricia Dorton. Funeral: Noon on Saturday chapel at
Eastern Cemetery. Visitation at Portland Memorial Chapel,
518 N. 28th Street, from 9:30 to 11:30 Saturday.
