Dorothy Parr Yent, 66, of 4004 Glen Valley Road, died Wednesday at
St. Anthony Medical Center.
She
was the owner of Barbee Beauty Shop. Survivors
include a sister, Helen Pottinger of Newtown, CT, and three
brothers, Earl H. Parr of Las Vegas, NV, William T. and Ray Parr.
Funeral
11 a.m. Saturday, Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway.
Visitation from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 5 and 7-9 p.m.
Friday.

Roy
Edward Wallace, 80, died Tuesday at Humana Hospital-Suburban.
He
was a retired self-employed painting contractor and a member of
Junior Order of Mechanics of the United States No. 39 and Bethel
United Church of Christ.
Survivors
include his wife, the former Martha Wendelgast; daughter, Shirley A.
Pittelko of West Milford, NJ; a brother, Earl H. Wallace; a sister,
Ida M. Craigmyle; and three grandchildren.
Funeral
at 2 p.m. Friday, Arch L. Heady Hikes Point Funeral Home, 4109
Taylorsville Road, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.
Visitation from 1-9 p.m. Thursday and after 11 a.m. Friday.
Expressions

Patricia Emma Dorton,
62, of 4805 Andaluisa Lane, died Saturday at Saint Anthony Medical
Center.
She was the former Patricia Davis, a former employee of Banquet
Table Buffet, and a member of Valley Chapel of Prayer and Order of
Eastern Star 127.
Survivors: A
daughter, Patricia A Dorton; two son's, John L Dorton of Santa
Monica Calif., and Phillip G Dorton Sr., Two sisters, Goldie
Walden of Clermont and Jean Glidewell; two brothers, William T and
Pat Davis; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral: 1 p.m
Tuesday, Billy Howell's Fairdale Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road,
with burial in Mount Holly Cemetery. Visitation from 3 to 9
pm Monday.

Virginia E.
McHugh, 72, died Friday at her home. She was the
former Virginia Shirley and a retired employee of General Electric
Co.
Survivors include her husband Elrod A McHugh, five sons
Daniel McHugh of Leitchfield, James Graham of Clearwater
Fl., John, Fred, and Robert Graham; a daughter Connie
Morris; two brothers John and Eugene Shirley; 30 grandchildren;
and seven
Great grandchildren.
Funeral: 11 am Monday Arch L Heady Okolona Funeral Home 8519
Preston Highway with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation after 1 pm Sunday.
