Henry S. "Junior" Duvall,
69, of Portland, died Thursday at his home.
He was a native of Cecelia, a retired
truck driver for the Old Lampton Transfer Co., a marine
Veteran of World War II, a member of American Legion Portland Post
278, and teamsters Local 89.
Survivors : three daughter's, Betty
Douthitt of French Lick, Ind., Corene Conrad of Taswell, Ind., and
Doraveen Duvall; four sisters, Lois Goodman and Mariann Helm,
both of Cecelia, and Eldona Dupin, and Elizabeth Knott; four
brothers, Earl, and Benny Duvall and Charles and Henry Goodman; a
son-in-law , Marquis Smith Jr., with whom he lived, and four
grandchildren.
Funeral: 3 PM Sunday, Schoppenhorst
and Underwood Funeral Home, 19th and Market Streets, and at 2 PM
Monday, Manakee Funeral Home Elizabethtown. Burial: Meeting Creek
Church Cemetery, Eastview. Visitation: Schoppenhorst and Underwood
Funeral home 2-9 PM Saturday and 10-3 PM Sunday, and Manakee
Funeral Home 10-2 PM Monday.

Wyatt Williams, of Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Louisville, died
Thursday in Tamarac, Fla.
Survivors
are his wife, the former Doris J. Willett; a daughter Rebecca J.
West, a son, Douglas W. Williams, a sister, Melvina Moore; and a
granddaughter. Funeral
is 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Fairdale Road. Burial will be in Mount Holly.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday.

Betty Lucille
Welch,68, Harrods Creek, died Friday at Suburban Medical Center.
She was the former Betty
Sherrill, a native of New Amsterdam Ind. and a Presbyterian.
Survivors: Her
husband, Joseph W. Welch; a daughter, Sherill Hucherson of
Harrod's Creek; her mother Geneva Sherrill of Clarksville,
Indiana; and a brother, David Sherrill of Sellersburg, Indiana.
The body was
cremated. Memorial service 4 PM Sunday, Highlands Funeral
Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Visitation: 2-4 PM
Sunday. Memorial Gifts: Kosair Charities of Hospice of
Louisville.

Ann J. Shacklette Goldthorpe,79, died
Thursday at Twinbrook Health Care Center.
She was the former Ann J. Huffines, a
retired employee of the Internal Revenue Service and a member of
Salem United Church of Christ.
Survivors: stepsons Thane and Pat W.
Shacklette Jr. and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be private. Burial:
Resthaven Memorial. Visitation: Arch L. Heady Hikes Point,
4109 Taylorsville Road. 9-11 AM Saturday.
