In the name of
God amen I, Daniel Johnson of Knox County and State of Kentucky
being weak of body but sound of mind and in my perfect
senses Blessed as God for as granting me mercy, yet considering
the uncertanity of life and the certanity of death do this day
being the twelth day of January one thousand eight hundred
and three, do ordain this my last will and
testament in manner following, to wit; That is to say I
leave and bequeath unto my five sons Joseph, James, David,
Daniel, and Isaac Johnson two dollars each to be paid and divided
out of my estate in one year after my death. I leave and
bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Bundy also two dollars to
be paid as aforesaid, as to the balance of my estate which God
has blessed me with, I leave all and singular unto my daughter
Hannah Ingram and Nancy Johnson the daughter of my son James
Johnson to be equally divided between them two, and cortley I do
appoint my son James Johnson, my sole executor of this my last
will and testament hereby revoking all other wills and
testaments by me made. Declaring this as very only last
will and testament. In witnesses where of I have here unto
and at my hand and affixed my seal the day and year above
written.

X his mark Signed sealed and published and delivered to be the
last will and testament of the above Daniel Johnson in our
precents.
