This Indenture made the 18th day of April 1828
by & between John Freeman of the County of Laurel & State of Kentucky
of the one part & Elizabeth Freeman, Nancy Freeman, & Rebecca Freeman
of the County & State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth. That
the said John Freeman for & in consideration of the Love & affection
that he hath for his Daughters, the aforesaid Elizabeth, Nancy & Rebecca,
he hath granted, bargained & conveyed and by these presents doth grant,
bargain & convey unto the Sd. Elizabeth, Nancy & Rebecca a certain
tract or parcel of Land Lying & being in the County of Laurel on the
waters of Laurel River and on the State afor'd(?), containing two hundred
acres more or Less & bounded as follows. To wit: Beginning at Browns
South East corner at a Sweet Gum & three Swamp Oaks. From thence with
Sd. Browns line West 278 poles, crossing the State road at two white oaks
a corner on sd. line & two ________. From thence S 53 E. 373 poles
to two poplars on the Bank of Lick Creek. From thence ___ crossing sd.
Creek different times North 216 poles to a white oak & Maple. From
thence West 25 poles to the beginning. Together with all & singular
the premises thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. To have &
to hold the Land hereby conveyed with the appurtenances unto the sd. Elizabeth,
Nancy & Rebecca and their heirs forever. And the said John for himself
& his other heirsdoth warrant & forever defend the aforesaid tract
of Land & premises free from the claim of him, them or either of them
by these presents and from all other persons whatsoever. In Witness whereof
the sd. John Freeman hath set his hand & Seal the date above written.

I Lot P i t m a n Clerk of the County Court
aforesaid do certify that the foregoing deed from John Freeman to Elizabeth,
Nancy & Rebecca Freeman was this day produced to me in my office on
the 18th day of April 1828 & acknowledged by sd. John Freeman to be
his act & deed for the purposes therein mentioned, and the same is
duly admitted to record. Given under my hand the day & date above written.
