E.L. Allen, 66, of Robinson Creek Road, London, Kentucky, died Sunday, June 30, 2002, at the Marymount Medical Center in London.
Born December 4, 1935, in Knox County, Kentucky, he was a construction worker
and member of the Campground Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cynthia (House) Allen and George Allen;
two brothers, Albert Allen and Virgil Allen; and three sisters, Ada Allen, Joyce
Dooley, and Marie Hutton.
Survivors include his wife, Maggie (Cox) Allen of London, Kentucky; three sons,
Ronnie Allen, Darrell Allen and Donnie Allen, all of London, Kentucky; five
daughters, Sandra Taylor, Farrel Kim Allen, Debra Wagers, Connie Wagers and
Sharon Peters, all of London, Kentucky; a brother John Allen of Lily, Kentucky;
four sisters, Lillie Trevillean of Armada, Michigan, Liddie Bell Jones and Jean
Vaughn, both of Barbourville, Kentucky, and Opal Gilbert of London, Kentucky; 18
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, at the
House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Monty Hale, Bro. Jerry Laudermilk,
Bro. Eddie Elmore and Bro. Marlow Napier officiating.
Burial will follow in the Merrimac Cemetery at London.
