Frances Root Adams, 94, of McFadden Cemetery Road, London, Kentucky, died Thursday, November 7, 2002, at her residence.

Born May 15, 1908, in Laurel County, Kentucky, she was a housewife.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Mary (Bentley) Root and George Root; her husband, Terry Adams; and two sons, Leonard Root and George Willie Root.
Survivors include 10 children, June Overbey, Wanda Sue Wilson and John Adams, all of Indianapolis, Indiana, Henry Rothell Adams of Hoenwald, Tennessee, Clarence Adams, Carl Adams, Randell Adams, Ezekias Adams, Elmon Adams and Dean Adams, all of London, Kentucky; 23 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 9, at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Johnny Shell and Bro. Tim Philpot officiating.

Burial followed in the Union Cemetery at London, Kentucky.
