Phyllis Alsip, 50, of Alsip Road, London, Kentucky, died Monday, June 10, 2002, at the St. Joseph Hospital.
Born January 26, 1952, in Leslie County, Kentucky, she was a cook for the Laurel
County Board of Education and a member of the Bald Rock Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah Fee and Elmer Fee Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Raleigh Alsip of London, Kentucky; a son, Raleigh
Brandon Alsip of London, Kentucky; a daughter, Vickie Cox of London, Kentucky;
three brothers, Donnie Fee of London, Kentucky, Melvin Fee and Elmer Fee Jr.,
both of Red Bird, Kentucky; four sisters, Barbara McConnell and Rhoda Jean
Staley, both of London, Kentucky, and Ruth Morgan and Isabelle Osborne, both of
Hyden, Kentucky; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 14, at the Poynters
Chapel Christian Church with the Rev. Jeff Lewis and the Rev. Ronnie Hale
officiating.
Burial will follow in the Poynters Chapel Cemetery at Bald Rock under the
direction of the Bowling Funeral Home.
