Myrtle Chapel Church and cemetery sits just off Rt. 3 near Fallsburg. It is one of the oldest churches in Lawrence Co. Kentucky still in use. Many of it's current members are descendants of the first settlers of the area once known only as "The Falls of Blaine". My gggrandfather Rev. Robert French Rice was a curcit riding Methodist Minister in the late 1800's he often held services at this church. His granddaughters Sara Rice and Dorothy Rice Moore are still members there and attend service regularly.
