This picture was taken in front of the drug store in Louisa,
maybe around 1938. My dad, Herman Dixon, is the tall guy in the white
shirt on the right side of the picture. I think the boy wearing a short
sleeve white shirt on the left side of the picture is Robert Lowry Dixon, son of
Lawrence County Dixon (my Dad's brother).
I'm not sure what is
going on. It looks like the drug store soda jerk (wearing an apron) is
sitting on a barrel holding a sign "I need your help". It'd be nice to put
more names with these faces.
