Spring Trip

A number of members of the Louisville Genealogical Society visited Allen County Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for our spring trip. Most found valuable information. Those who did not still enjoyed the experience.

Fifth Tuesday Outings

September 30, 10:00 a.m. on the 4th floor of Ekstrom Library (eft off the elevator and left again quickly to the glass door requiring a buzzer for entry) for a review of the holdings of Archives and Special Collections at U of L. Plan for a one-hour visit which would inclue a walk to the building's lower level to see where research actually occurs and the procedure for entry as well as a brief walk-through of an adjacent gallery space.
Tom Owen will be able to help with the review and night be joined by one or more colleagues. Repeating, the presentation will review the university's local history holdings with at least a recognizable nod to their limited genealogical materials.
If you're willing to pay $5 or so, there is convenient parking in the Speed Museum garage next door.
