My brick wall is sorting out the Haleys that were in Lincoln Co. from the 1790s. I believe Charles' father was from VA, possibly a Quaker. There are three possibilities that I believe could be correct. Silas Haley, Barlett Haley or Benjamin Haley. I lean toward Benjamin as he lived next door to Charles in the 1840 census and would be of about the right age. Any help or suggestions where I might look would be appreciated. I believe his father could be Bartlett, Silas or Benjamin Haley since they were all in the early census. My best guess would be Benjamin because he lived next door to Charles in the 1840 census. Benjamin did not appear in the 1850 census. Charles married Naoma Lucas, I have their marriage date and names of the children. I am looking for a will, a death date, burial for Benjamin.
