I am looking for some history of Ben. Lincoln.I have been unable to find much.I have an old 
genealogy booklet written in 1920 stating ,

John Fletcher Givan born Mar.26,1775 married Eliza Lincoln daughter of Major-General 
B.F.Lincoln,Morristown,N.J. Feb.8,1777. 

Had 3 children,

Temperance born May 1,1779

Betsy born Sept.12,1781

William born Apr.6,1783

Liet.John Fletcher Givan and Gen. Lincoln, his father-in -law, were both wounded at the battle 
of Bemis Heights, near Saratoga Oct.8,1778.

Betsy Givan was the first white child born at Bear Grass Camp,now 7th and Main 
Sts.,Louisville,Ky. Mary Lincoln daughter of Abraham Lincoln the second child born 
there.(Abraham was the grandfather of our president.)

John Fletcher Givan was killed at battle of Blue Licks.

Temperance md. John Rice (doesn't say where)

Betsy ( no futher info given) 

William md. Elizabeth Dixon(doesn't say where)

I don't know how much of this to believe as no reference is given as to where he got his 
info.Believe it was oral history passed down.

My question is,What was the relationship between B.F. Lincoln and the Abraham Lincoln(the 
grandfather of our president).

I'd like any info you have on B.F. Lincoln as I have not found any.
