“I Jane Montgomery do so far attest and revoke all other wills and testaments (word?) me at any other time made, as is herein provided, towit,
I will & bequeath to my daughter Molly Russell my negroe woman Jenny,also my mare, saddle & bridle; and whatever money remains unpaid for my land.
I will & bequeath to Jenny Hughes my bed & its clothes of furniture, and my hat;
And to prevent any doubt of my having given to Smith Russell, my colt, I now will it to him.
I wish my wearing clothes to be divided among my children.
And I will to my son James the money I lent him and all the residue of my estate not herein otherwise bequeathed.
In witness wherof I have directed my name to be hereto subscribed in my presence, and my seal to be annexed this eighteenth day of October one thousand, eight hundred & seven.”

At a County Court held for Lincoln County on Monday the 14th Day of December 1807 this last will and testament of Jane Montgomery Decd. Was exhibited into court and proved by the oath of William Logan and Alexander Montgomery subscribing witnesses thereto, and ordered to be recorded(?).
