Alexander Bowling Surnames: BOWLING #10091 Ann Bolin Kirkman <abk1ann@aol.com> Mon, 19 Mar 2001 << Previous in Thread HI, Hope you can help clear up some confusion for me re: Alexander Bowling. My family history says that William Bolin was the father of Jarrett b. 1778 in VA. I have seen other information by some researchers that Alexander Bowling b. 1746 in Pa is his father. Is this your Alexander? I also have another Alexander b. KY 1812 my ggggrandfather. He was the son of Jarrett b. 1778. His son was Mountford Mack and his son John and his son Kenneth and me. William Bolin had brothers Alexander and George and probably more. These brothers served in the Rev War in PA. William was in VA in 1778 then he is found in KY and finally the family moved to Dubois Co. IN.
Hope you can help.
Ann

Joseph DeBond Surnames: DEBAUN, DEBOND, LAMBERT #10092 Gordon Rondeau <grondeau@avenew.com> Mon, 23 Apr 2001 Response >> Saw the will posted on a Joseph DeBond. By a Stacy. I am the G.G.G.G.G.Grandson of a Joseph DeBaun (5 Greats) This matches with a few exceptions. He was, born about 1742 Tappen Rockland New York, Married to a Gurtude (AKA Charity) Durie 24 May 1756 in New York City. He died in 1833 in Harrod Station, Mercer County Kentucky. (Old Ft. Harrod??) They had a daughter Lavinia Wynett(My4G.Grandmother)who married a John S. Lambert. (Not Lambard as in the posted will) Presume this to be a typo. All else seems to fit quite closely. I think this is a good link as it's very close. If you feel my info is in error, please advise. grondeau@avenew.com Thanks Gordon Rondeau Top | Surname Index | Researchers Page | 'Every Word' Search | Archived Data | Home
