Born Jan 17, 1915, in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late George L. and Emma Jane Ball Sexton. She was a homemaker and a member of Burgin Baptist Church. She was the widow of Alfred Caddell.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Gayle Caddell of Burgin; four sisters, Georgia Webb and Martha Bennett, both of Burgin, Virginia Taylor of Richmond, and Joann Dexter of Danville.

Born March 7, 1918, in Louisville, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Lena Denzer Hoefler. She was a homemaker and a retired office manager for Wilson-Bond Architects, Lexington. She was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, J. Earl O'Bryant; a son, James E. O'Bryant Jr. of Dickson, Tenn.; a daughter, Bonnie O'Bryant Tanner of Alexandria, Va.; a sister, Eva Worful of Louisville; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at McClellan Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert DeFoor. Entombment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Louisville.
Pallbearers will be Armond Bottom, Kenneth Burns, Connie Ellis, Brennan Royalty, James M. and Scott W. O'Bryant.

Born June 10, 1948, in Jacksonville, Fla., he was a son of Wilma Irene Burney Scarbrough of Keystone Heights and the late William Jack Scarbrough. He was a journey lineman for IBEW Local 101, Somerset, a member of Rosemont Baptist Church, Lexington, and served in the Marine Reserves. He was a graduate of Albat Electrical School and owner of Ed and Earl Enterprises Sporting Goods.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Robinson Scarbrough; a son, Earl Travis Scarbrough, Harrodsburg; a brother, William E. Scarbrough, Jacksonville; four sisters, Mary Francis Sheffield of Bybee, Tenn., Cheryl McDaniel of Baxley, Ga., Lana Brock of Warrior, Ala., and Jacquelyn Raymonda of New York.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Guy, J.C. Brock, Cliff McDaniel, Mick Robinson, David Mobley and Larry Proctor.

Goodpaster, Waynesburg; three sisters, Elizabeth Williams, Lexington, and Beatrice Reistenberg and Nora Barker, both of Florida; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at McClellan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

He belonged to Burgin Christian Church where he served as deacon, trustee and chairman of the board. He also was a member of Mercer Masonic Lodge 777 F&AM.
Survivors include one son, Rice W. Lear Jr., Burgin; one daughter, Kay Lockett, Lakeside Park; one sister, Jane Bailey, Burgin; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be David Bailey, Curtis Bailey, Roy Lee Sanders, George Stone, Meredith Lee Lear and Pat Lear.

He belonged to the Grapevine Christian Church in Mercer County. He was the widower of Jessie Kurtz Sims.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Keck of Clarksville, Ind., and Lucille Hendren of Cuyahoga, Ohio; one sister, Zelma McGinnis of Harrodsburg; one brother, Dewitt Sims of Harrodsburg; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Born May 29, 1903, in Claiborne County, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late Abe and Martha Bussell Hatfield. She was the widow of Walter Peace and a member of East Cumberland Avenue Baptist Church, Middlesboro.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandy Kuch of Chicago and Barbara Carroll of Harrodsburg; a sister, Laura Hurst of Fort Wayne, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Sharps Cemetery, Middlesboro, by the Rev. Ken Cole.
There will be no visitation.

She was a former grocery store owner and operator and was a nursing assistant at Haggin Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 60 years and was a member of the Rainbow Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Edith Hawkins of Mercer County; three stepsons, and five stepdaughters; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a son, Vernon Devine.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Deep Creek Baptist Church by the Revs. Everett Priddy and Hillary Claypool. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe Hawkins, David Devine, Larry Devine, Michael Votaw, Tommy Devine, Scott Hawkins, David Hawkins, Josh Devine and Dustin Devine.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Harrodsburg United Methodist Church by the Rev. Mark Girard, the Rev. David Upchurch, and Raymond Watts. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

He was a member of Gideon International, Mercer Retired Teacher Association, Kentucky Education Association and National Education Association. He also served on the board of directors of several organizations. He was the widower of Alma V. Pinkston.
Survivors include a son, Charles T. "Tommy" Pinkston of Mercer County; three daughters, Frances Moore, Joyce Sherrow and Roxie Lee Pinkston, all of Mercer County; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
