I am looking for info on a William Ellis whom I believe lived in Mercer Co. in the late 1700's. His children were: William, Johnathan, Edmund, Jane, Strother. Who was William Ellis married to? Who was William Ellis' parents? I came from the line of William Ellis Jr. who moved to Franklin Co Tn between 1818 and 1825. I have heard of a will probated in Mercer Co naming some of William Ellis' children, this will was probated in 1837 (I think). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Does anyone have access to the East Kentuckian Magazine, or know if it is online? In the KY Genealogical Index, there is a listing for John Baker HOWARD, Vol. 9, Issue 3, page 19 of the East Kentuckian. Since I have access only to the index and not to the magazine, I would appreciate very much if someone could tell me what it says or how to access it. I know he was in MERCER Co in 1817 when he witnessed a marriage bond for Nicodemus Vermillion and Sally Semones, sister of his wife. Thanks for any help..

Father of William CUNNINGHAM, Isaac CUNNINGHAM m 2nd wife Hester RIGHT, 08 Jan 1826 in Mercer Co,KY. Isaac and bride moved to IL, but not quite sure when, maybe prior to 1830. These people came to KY from VA......poor spelling skills. Hester RIGHT is actually Esther WRIGHT. Will be grateful for any clues

I am looking for information on George Sanford Munday who married Sarah Hurst. They had 3 children that I know of Ophelia who Married George Lawson then Caleph Cahill who were my G-G grandparents. Ophelia was born April 11, 1850 in Mercer Co. The other 2 children were Ann E. and George /Georgie. I don't know anything else about them. I don't know the parents of George S. Munday or Sarah Hurst. I am looking for a link to WILLIAM GODFREY b. 1800 in VA,died in Mercer co, KY, m. May 1827 in Mercer co. KY to Rosanna Dean. They had Eliza Jane, William T. Enoch, Martha and Ianel. Enoch Godfrey m. Nancy Jane Clark in Oct 1864 in Mercer co, KY and they had 10 children, all born in Mercer co. except the last 2, who were born on the way to TX. Clara Godfrey, my husband's grandmother, m. I am looking for the parents of Peter ALBAUGH b. about 1805 and married Mary Harper BURKS in Mercer County, KY on 19 June 1824. The marriage bond was signed by Adney "ALBAU". I know there was a John ALBAUGH on the 1810 Garrard County Census and wonder if there are any other records on John... perhaps he moved to Mercer County, KY or perhaps he died before the 1820 census as he is not listed...believe there is an Amy ALBAUGH. Any information is appreciated. On the BURKS side, know Mary's Father and Mother were Edmund and Elizabeth (EVERLY/EBERLY) BURKS and Edmund's Father was John. Wonder if anyone has any proof that John's Father was Richard BURKS. Would like to correspond with descendants! Do know Peter and Mary migrated to Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana and her parents, Edmund and Elizabeth moved to Monroe County, Indiana. Thanks, Jan
