Any VanArsdales interested in a will of Hiram Baldwin who died in Jefferson Co., Miss. Sept. 15, 1851? In it he mentions one Mary Vanarsdale, wife of Isaac Vanarsdale all of Bloomingham, N.J. This info. is from Mississippi Court Records from the Files of the High Court of Errors and Appeals 1799-1859 by Hendrix found in Gen. Romm of local library. Contents say Mary and Isaac are all heirs of Hiram Baldwin.

I am in search of ancestor named Daniel ROBERTSON. ROBERTSON's name appears on the Stray Tax roll,and the 1800 census. Robertson was married to Mary Skiles and they had 13 children.Family tradition has it that ROBERTSON died in 1809 in Harrodsburg. Exact dates of his birth,marriage, and place of buriel are unknown. Hi it's Bill TAylor and I need help. Does anyone have any info on a JOHN TAYLOR who married a MARY CULL in Mercer co. Ky. in 2/15/1796. Mary CULL was the d/o a JOHN CULL of Washington co. KY. Need to know the father of this JOHN and the TAYLOR line and/or the children's names and date of births if possible. They were thought to have lived very close to the Mercer and Washington county lines. I would appreciate any help in trying to located the father of my GEORGE TAYLOR b. 1802-05 and thought to be the son of a JOHN TAYLOR but which one? Thanks so much for any help. Looking for information about the Warren family. John Warren married Jane Phillips no dates. One of their children was George Charles Warren--B: 1854 D: 1929. George married Lou Ella MaHan b: 1885 D: 1927. One of their children Ora Beatrice Warren married Whilliam Thomas McGuire. W. T. McGuire was born in Henry County and his parents were William Thomas McGuire, Sr and Rebecca Hockersmith. I believe these families moved around but ended up in Mercer County. Any information on these families would be appreciated.

Sisters: Sylvester and missouri. Their parents :HARM HENDERSON THOMPSON born 3/30/1886 and ELLA MAE PRUITT born 2/18/1887 she died 5/23/1928 Any insight would be appreciated. Their death certificates state WVa, Va. Kentucky. or Ohio as being the only states they lived in.

My Nancy Jane Taylor married James Madison Fields...Their son was Samuel Henry Fields my great grandfather. I have always been told were part Cherokee. There was a Mason Taylor who married a Redmon who was an Indian in LaRue Co. I think.

Hi Martha, it is Bill Taylor. I thank you for your reply. There may be a connection. There was a Mason Taylor in the Land transactions in Casey co. Ky.but I never gave it much thought? You never gave me any time frames so I can't tell if anything fits yet. There was a Fields or Fielding at the sale of old Samuel Porters. This could have been yours? I will go back and do some more research to see if anything fits. It sure would help if you had any dates? My aunt Elizabeth Taylor Devine was married in Larue co. I found a will for Isaac MITCHELL listed on the Wills Index for Mercer Co., KY in Will Bk. 11, page 222. Date of will was 1840 - probably probate date. I have not been able to locate the will or an abstract of the will. Does anyone know if Isaac mentioned his wife and children's names in the will? If so, I'd like very much to know their names. Thanks for any help you can give.

My great great grandparents were married in Mercer County, Kentucky on Novenber 15, 1817. There names were John Ireland and Eliza Stirman. John Ireland was born in New York between 1775 and 1795, Eliza Stirman was born in Kentucky in 1803. I would like information about their parents. John died during the 1820's and Eliza went to Monroe County, Missouri with their four children. She had brothers living in this area of Missouri. Eliza died in Missouri sometime after 1850. found early Caseys of Mercer, Nelson in Washington Co. Robert Casey on 1797 tax list. 1810 census Robert Casey 1M (26-45), 2F below 10, 2F (10-16), 1F(26-45) hard to read 1812 tax list Washington Co. Robert, David and Henry Casey in Co with no land. Robert 2 males, 3 horses David 1 male, 2 horses Henry 1 male, 1 horse I believe there was a John Casey but will have to dig into my notes. My David Casey arrived in IL after 1830 with family. Robert arrived much earlier with son Henry and John. No proof that there is a connection between them. David states in the 1850 IL census that he was born in KY in abt. 1801.
