I'm researching the family of John Cammack and Nancy Miller, who came to Mercer Co. Ky. in 1813. Their children included James, Martha, Margaret, Delpha, Polly, Thomas and John. I'm descended from Polly Cammack b.ca.1775 d.1867 through her son Joseph Cammack b.ca.1804. They sometimes used the spelling "McCammack". Let me know of you're researching this family.

I'm searching for information on my great great grandfather; William Chauncey Piper.
He was b 12 Mar 1822 in Palestine, Crawford Co., IL; d 5 Nov 1879 in Danville, Boyle Co., KY; m Mary Lavinia Sims on 7 May 1857 in Nicholasville, Jessamine Co., KY. Mary was b 17 Jul 1835 in Flat Rock, Bourbon Co., KY and died 27 Sep 1903 in Nicholasville, Jessamine Co., KY. They had 7 children, one of which was Augustus Bowman Piper, my great grandfather, who was b 13 Jul 1860 in Harrodsburg, Mercer Co., KY. Does anyone's Piper line include any of these? I would be happy to share info if it does.

Thanks for the reply and your time, but my Sarah Clark was born abt. 1787 in Va -- probably the KY part. She married John Everman at some point. They left Harrodsburg with two children and his father around 1807-08. John's mother died at the settlement in 1806. More of the Everman (Eberman) family may have accompanied them east.

I am looking for any information on my g-grandmother. Her name was Nannie Semonis and she married George Benjamin Horton.

I have a birth date for her in Mercer Co. of Sept. 1885. The family Bible says she is the daughter of Daniel Semonis and Mattie Blake. Any info will be appreciated.

I have a death date of 6/6/1954 in Mercer Co. for George Benjamin Horton, but I do beleive that this couple also lived in Garrard Co.

His birth is recorded in The Douglas Registar being a detailed record of Births, Marriages and Deaths together with other interesting notes, as kept by the Rev. William Douglas, from 1750-1797. Josiah d. January 07, 1853, Mercer Co., KY. Josiah parents were John Utley and Nancy Clarkson.

George A. Cozine b:Feb 24 1828 or 1829 Westoport KY married Mary M. Craig b: Jan 1828 KY. They were married near Salvisa Ky according to his pension records. Together they had the following children:

1. William H. b:1852 KY
2. George E. b: March 6 1858 IN married Mary M. Craig
3. Lou A. b:Feb 20 1856 IN married Melissa Toogood
4. Mary Etta b:1862 IN married Daniel G. Wilkers
5. Thesius G. b:1866 IN
6. Alma B. b:1868 IN married Richabaugh
There might also be two other children John, and T.J but I am not positive.

Elizabeth A.: 1839-40, William Henry: 1842, Martha : 1844-46, Lydia Margaret: 1847-48, and Emely: 1853. Abner and family were located in Mercer county, KY, in the 1840 - 60 census. In 1860 they were in the Nevada township. Leah was again located in 1880 census, Putnam county, Clinton PO, Indiana, living with son, Obadiah and his family. In 1884, Obadiah and his family left Indiana for Kansas .

Census lists John as having been born in Kentucky, but don't know where Martha was born, nor what her maiden name was.
