Hello! We have military records from Washington DC that states my Great Grandfather John Lawson as mustering in the "Union 6th Kentucky Calvary Company H" July 1862. He spent his first couple of years in this unit. He is on record as "missing", which was desertion from this unit a number of times. He did make his time good with the 7th Kentucky Calvary for a number of months after the Civil War. You do have him listed in the 7th KY Calvary (Union)
