Henry Cabin

The Henry Cabin was obtained from Joe and Irene (May) Terrill, in the Woodland Valley in Morgan County, Kentucky, near Well's Mill.  It is presently unknown as to when it was originally built.  One informant claimed it served as the post office in Morgan County.  It was originally a story and a half with a dogtrot in the middle, where a stairway led to the upstairs.   It had a rock chimney on both ends.  One of these chimneys now graces the Arnett cabin, and the other has been rebuilt onto the Montgomery cabin.  Several bottom logs were deteriorated, making it necessary to rebuild it as a one-story cabin.
