The 439 page volume, 8 1/2x11 inches, soft cover with plastic overlays and ring binding, contains 410 pages of recipes, pictures and stories with an index to recipes and contributors.  This book is one of the Sesquicentennial projects undertaken by the historical society to celebrate Magoffin Countyís 150th birthday.

VOL. II includes Salyersville, Mash Fork, Rt. 460, Litteral's Fork, Mine Fork, Flat Fork, Cow Creek, etc. 112 pages, surname and cemetery name indexed.

VOL. III, printed in 1989 (109 pages) contains cemeteries in Salyersville, up Rt.7 to Lakeville Road, Stinson, Middle Fork, Grape Creek, White Oak, Cow Creek of Johnson, Short Fork and Rockhouse of Burning Fork. Surname and cemetery name indexed.
