Delila SHORES HARRIS came to Bourbon Co. shortly after the death of her husband, John Harris, in Fluvanna Co. Va. She must have lived here with relatives until her marriage to Reuben LEWIS in 1818. She brought her six children, Elizabeth, Frances, Sarah Jane, Nancy Rice, Thomas Randall and John C. Harris. They later settled in Indiana, Illinois and Missouri. Thomas married Eliza Frye Foreman( a widow) He attended school in Georgetown and later was a tanners apprentice in Montgomery Co. We need to know if Delila is buried in North Middletown or if she left Bourbon Co. to live with a child.

Need any info on: Samuel REEDS, b circa 1740, poss Kg Geo Co,VA. D 1814
Sarah Hackley REEDS, wife, d before 1810
John  JAMESON - son in law of Samuel & Sarah
Jael REEDS JAMESON, Dtr of Samuel & Sarah

I have some info about these ancestors that I will be willing to share.  Am
particularly interested in John Jameson's home built about 1790's in Mt.
Sterling, KY.  We visited there in June 1997 and the people living there
were not home.  The old cemetery behind their home is covered with weeds
and no indication of standing headstones.

I wonder if anyone had taken pictures of the headstones.  I believe my
ancestor Samuel Reeds and his wife Sarah Hackley Reeds are buried there.  I
understand there are 2 unidentified people there and it may be Samuel and
Sarah, as he died there in his dtr's home in that house.  Wonder if someone
earlier had copied down the names/or took photographs of them.

Any info about these people would be much appreciated.
