Looking for information on Dawson WADE, who was born in 1732-married Rachel BURNSIDES and died in Montgomery Co. in 1819.  Am especially interested in the names of the children of Dawson and Rachel WADE to determine if my ggg grandfather William WADE was their son.  William was born in VA in 1775-married Anny JOHNSON in 1798 in Madison Co. and died in MO in 1858. Would appreciate hearing from anyone researching the WADE family.

I am searching for both Green(e) and O'Rear. Mollie Green(e) and her son Bryant may have been enslaved in the northern part of the county. My grandfather Matthew Greene married Fannie Mae O'Rear of Montgomery Co. and I have the name Horace and Will O'rear but have virtually no knowledge of these individuals.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am interested in finding the burial places of Samuel Hinds (1801-1832) and his wife, Eleanor Dinwiddie Hinds (ca. 1803-1837). They died young of tuberculosis. Samuel was a farmer and owned land near Camargo. James Kirkpatrick raised their children after their deaths.

Seek information about Michael Finley (1742-1812) and his wife, Sarah Thompson. He is listed in the 1803 Montgomery tax list as owning 125 acres of third rate land on Muddy Lick Branch. A published genealogy has him dying in 1812 at Mud Lick in Fleming County. I believe this must have been Mud Lick in what is now Bath County.

There were many Andersons in Montgomery County early including several John Andersons. My John Anderson was usually referred to in the tax lists as John of Lulbegrud on account of owning 70 acres on the waters of Lulbegrud Creek. However, in the 1808 tax list he is referred to as John Irish Anderson which I interpret as meaning he was an immigrant from Ireland. This may explain why it has been impossible to trace him back to any other state. He married Mary Robeson about 1798 although I know of no marriage record. I have a list of children done by Mrs. Hazel Boyd a few years ago. My descent is through his son, George W. Anderson, who married Sally Stewart and moved to Jackson County, Missouri in 1836. Mrs. Boyd had no information about George W. I have a copy of the data from his family Bible. I am interested in information about John Anderson and his descendants as well as just where his family cemetery on Levee Road is located. Bill LaBach in Lexington, Kentucky. Dec. 12, 1997

Can anyone out there provide even the smallest clue to our Miller grandmother's maiden name?
Silas Miller, (born 1807 Clark Co., KY, son of Aaron Miller and Rebecca Finley of Clark Co., KY and Montgomery Co., and grandson of Abraham Miller, probably of Hampshire Co., VA to Clark Co., KY 1793), was married to Susan T. [?] in Montgomery Co., KY on Jan. 16, 1829, according to his Polk Co., Oregon donation land claim application of 1851. Susan (according to the Oregon Pioneer Asso.) was born 21 May 1814, probably in Montgomery Co., KY.  She died in 1901/2 Garfield, WA, and is said to be buried beside her third husband, Capt. John Pierce Sutton. The Millers went from Montgomery Co., KY about 1830 to Indiana.  About 1832 they moved to Cass (then Morgan) Co., IL.  In 1851 they followed the Oregon Trail to Oregon, with the William Taylor family and Capt. John P. Sutton and his sons. Justine Jones, Salem, Oregon
