DINGUS



Dingus is a small community at the mouth of the Burkses Creek. This community gets its name from the Dingus post office which was established by Dock Dingus.

The Dingus post office was first located up Burkses Creek at the mouth of Gray's Branch.
The Dingus post office was established in 1880.
