Morgan County Photo of Masons?

All I can tell you about it, is that the man in the front, just behind the
little boy, is William Alvin Bowling - he went by Alvin. The boy is
my husband, Mac Alden Bowling. Mac was born in Sep 1943, so I think
the picture was taken ca 1947. Alvin
was a member of the Masonic Highland Lodge 311, so I expect the building
behind was their meeting place. Alvin died in May 1952 at 54 years
of age. Mac & 3 of his brothers were sent to the Masonic Ophans
& Widows home in St. Matthews, KY in 1953 where they finished their education.
They have all turned out to be kind, mannerly, lawful men.
One of the gentlemen near Alvin was James W. Elam. The boys disagree
on which one - I believe it's either the man to the left or behind.
Mr. Elam came several times to the Home to see the boys. I would like
very much to share this photo, and if possible to know the names of the others
in the picture. I also would love to hear from anyone who may know
anything about Alvin's family. I know he had 2 brothers, Rosecran (went
by Cran) b Oct 1890, Ellick/Alex/Alexander Beckham (not sure of correct first
name) b abt 1908, and a sister Nancy/Nannie b Feb 1896, who married 1) a
Ballahouse (sp?), (2) possibly Morgon Lewis, and finally Steve A Hughes.
She was married to Mr Hughes went she died.
