The Pierce Jackson family
(that were still at home-- plus Elma Lou on the right-- and minus
brother James who was home but somewhere else).
This was taken in front of the Missouri
home place with water well house and driveway in the background.
Starting on the left is the youngest daughter Nettie Jane
(age 16 twin to Freddie Joe), Esther Laura (age 19),
Ocie Rebecca (my Mom, age 55),
Hank Jackson (myself in Army 'green' uniform, almost age 22),
J. Pierce (my dad, age 66), Freddie Joe (age 16, twin to Nettie Jane)
and Elma Lou (I believe age almost 24).
This family picture was taken just before I shipped out to Germany
in May of 1966. You can see the plum trees with spring flowers behind.
