VAUGHT - COOMBS - SHULTZ
I'm looking for the descendants of John S. VAUGHT and Rebecca COOMBS VAUGHT. They
married in Muhlenberg Co. April 15, 1851. The lived for many years in Hartford. John ran a stage
line and Rebecca a large boarding house. One daughter, for sure, was born to this marriage,
Elizabeth Catherine VAUGHT, b. 29 Jul 1852. After selling the boarding house Rebecca lived for
some time with her niece Mrs. O.M. SHULTZ. The SHULTZ were originally from Ohio County also.

I am looking for information about the ROYAL family of Ohio Co.,
specifically the ancestors of
Nova ROYAL, b. 24 Apr. 1888 in Fordsville. Her father was Isaac
C. ROYAL, b. 3 Apr. 1867.
I'm interested in any and all information. I would especially
like to know where this family came from
before they moved to Ky. I would eventually like to know which
ROYAL ancestor immigrated to

GRIFFITH - JOHNSON - BLAIR
I am looking for information on three of my ancestors.
GRIFFITH: My great grandmother was Rettie Lee GRIFFITH , born in Ohio
County on
9/21/1879 and died June 2,1917. Her father was Mac
(or Mack?) GRIFFITH , unknown
birthdate. Mac's father was one of five brothers
who came from England. Mac's mother was
Cherokee.
JOHNSON: My great grandfather was Tilden Hendricks JOHNSON, born in
Ohio County
8/9/1876 and died 10/21/1962. His father was Charles JOHNSON and his
mother was Sallie
Ambrose JOHNSON. Their birthdates are unknown.
BLAIR: My great grand father was Willie Newton BLAIR, born 3/30/1880
and died 8/12/1963.
He was the son of John BLAIR, born 3/13/1842, died 12/27/1915 and Francis
Newton, born
1/19/1858 , died 6/14/1924. John BLAIR was the son of Samuel BLAIR
and Mary Fouche.
Any information about these families and their ancestors will be appreciated.

DOWNS - WILLIAMS
I am looking for information on the DOWNS family. I know that William
DOWNS and wife Nancy
were living in the county before 1782. Their son Thomas was born in
PA but their son Wm. was
born at Fort Hartford. Then William Sr. was killed by indians in 1792
and all the children went to live
with their uncle Evan WILLIAMS in Nelson county. Was Nancy a WILLIAMS
or was Evans
wife Sarah a DOWNS. I know that Evan was born in Va moved to Nelson
county then Ohio where
several of his children grew up. David WILLIAMS who married a DOWNS
and his grandson
Thomas who married a DOWNS. Trying to find where Evan and William were
married. Would love
to hear from either the DOWNS family or the WILLIAMS family. Thanks

JOHNSTON - TABER
I would like to correspond with anyone researching JOHNSTON or

family of specific interest is James JOHNSTON who sons were James,

I am looking for information about Elizabeth Loretta JOHNSON,
born at Cromwell, Ky of Ohio
county on August 12,1856. I do not know her parents name or what
happened to them because she
was in the 1970 census of Pope County Illinois living as a foster
child in the home of Anna Joiner
Wiley. She lived here until her marriage to William R. WILLIAMS

BARRETT - WEDDING - MOORE
I am looking for information on Richard W. BARRETT and Mary E. WEDDING
who died in
Daviess Co. and were buried in a private Family Cemetery. They
were married in Ohio Co. in 1820.
He is the son of Thomas BARRETT d.1819 and Elizabeth (?).
Mary's parents were Thomas WEDDING, JR. and Rachel MOORE who
was the daughter of
Charles MOORE. Information on any of these people would be appreciated.
