The Oldham Era -
Mrs. Molly Elizabeth Morris, 68, died Saturday at her home in the Skylight community after an illness of several days.
She had suffered a heart attack. A native of Larue County, Mrs. Morris and her family had lived for 44 years in Oldham County and for most of that time on the N. E. Dick farm.
Surviving are her husband, W. M. Morris; two daughters, Mrs. Clifford Allen, Louisville, and Mrs. Alec Acton, Falmouth; two sons, Frank Morris, Prospect, and Jesse Morris, Aberdeen, Washington; three brothers, Lewis Murphy of Prospect, George Murphy, Otisco, Indiana, and Pearce Murphy of Versailles, Indiana; 11 grandchildren.
The body was prepared for burial at the Ricketts- Radcliffe Funeral Home and funeral services were conducted at the Shiloh Methodist Church at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon by the Rev. Riley Shirley. Interment was in the Shiloh Cemetery. Acting as casket bearers were Ben Burch, Owen Heitzman, Richard DeJarnett, J. M. Price, Styles Thompson and Joe Gassaway.
