On December 4, 2010 the Paducah Chapter NSDAR held a Christmas Tea at First Presbyterian Church. The national Americanism Award was presented to Jesus Menendez by chapter regent Kathy Toy. Mr. Menendez spoke briefly about his life in Cuba and what it has meant to him to become an American citizen.
