U. S. Constitution Celebration September 18, 2010

We held a Constituion party on September 18, 2010.

During the day we learned how to make a quill pen and how to use berries to make ink.

Those attending signed the Preamble to the Constitution with their pens and ink. The younger ones made their "X" mark.

The signed "Preamble."

There were two protrayals of Benjamin Franklin by younger members.
Each told of the National C.A.R. project to help preserve the display case containing the original Constitution. Then they collected pennies in a jug that was decorated to look like Constitution Hall.
